VEHICLES in a residential area of Chineham have been target by thieves.
Two cars were targeted by thieves in Thumwood overnight between 11pm on October 7 and 7.45am on October 8.
Police reported that a soft top black Mini Cooper was found to have been damaged with three to four slashes in the fabric.
No entry was gained to the vehicle and nothing was taken.
However, thieves also targeted a grey Toyota Yaris which was broken into with loose change and an identity card was stolen.
The owner found the front door of the vehicle open but is unsure how the suspects got into the vehicle.
