RESIDENTS of Basingstoke will soon be able to celebrate the joys of relaxed dining, drinking and lounging as a new restaurant opens its doors on Monday.

Cosy Club will be taking over the empty unit which was previously occupied by Giraffe. in Festival Place, opening on Tuesday, October 8.

Today Festival Place has posted on social media a sneak peak into how the new eatery will look.

The restaurant offers a range of menus including vegan and gluten free, with options such as roast turmeric cauliflower, Asian seabass fillet and warm spiced aubergine, hummus and feta.

The brunch menu includes choices such as ham hock hash, scrambled tofu and buttermilk pancakes.

There is also an extensive drinks menu, with cocktails including Blow a Raspberry at Colin and Botanical Bliss.

The chain also gives away free cups of tea on Wednesday mornings between 10am and 11am to combat loneliness.

Even before the Cosy Club opens its doors it has arranged a Fabulously Festive Brunch for November 1 as well as taking Christmas and New Year’s Eve bookings.
