A WOMAN has been arrested and is under investigation after a car crash on Black Dam roundabout in Basingstoke tonight.
Hampshire Constabulary has issued an urgent appeal for witnesses who saw what happened to come forward.
A black Peugeot and a red BMW were involved in the crash which took place shortly after 6.15pm on the A339 northbound between junction 6 of the M3 and A339 ringway east.

One driver was arrested. A second driver sustained minor injuries.
PC James Hall, of the roads policing unit, said: "We are appealing for witnesses after a two-vehicle collision.
"Minor injuries were sustained. One of the drivers has been arrested and is under investigation.
"It was a busy time of day when the incident happened. We are appealing for witnesses to make contact with us by calling the 101 number, quoting crime reference number 44190355035."
