THREE brothers from London who burgled a string of properties across North Hampshire to steal large quantities of jewellery and cash have been jailed.

John Nolan, 36, Steven Nolan, 30, and William Nolan, 26, targeted homes in Baughurst and Old Basing between October 2018 and January 2019.

They've received a combined sentence of 17 years in prison, which works out as six years for John and five and a half years each for Steven and William.

The trio, all of Beech Close, West Drayton, were sentenced at Winchester Crown Court yesterday.

They burgled properties on Shyshack Lane in Baughurst and Pelham Close in Old Basing, as well as multiple properties in Aldershot and Farnborough.

Reacting to the sentencing, Police Staff Investigator Dulcie Smith said: “We welcome the sentences imposed by the courts which have ensured these three selfish and callous individuals are off our streets.

“I hope this reassures our communities that we do not tolerate this type of offending, and that we will work hard to bring these people to justice.”
