A MAN has been charged with carrying a blade following an incident in Basing View yesterday.
As previously reported in the Gazette police arrested a man after stopping a vehicle which was heading in the direction of Eastrop Roundabout after reports of a person acting suspiciously.
Deqwan Olusamokun, 20, of Verney Road, Camberwell, London has been charged with possession of a bladed article, breaching of a criminal behaviour order, and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
The incident took place around 1.20pm on September 9.
A witness told the Gazette that they saw a man with a "very large knife" being arrested.
Olusamokun is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court tomorrow (September 11).
