EMERGENCY services are currently dealing with an incident on the railway lines between Basingstoke and Farnborough.
Early reports indicate that a person was struck on the line between the two stations.
Emergency services are dealing the with blockage and it is believed to delays to journey’s will be delayed until 9pm today.
South Western Railway (SWR) said that it is arranging replacement bus services to transport passengers between the two stations.

A SWR person said: “Our response teams are working with the emergency services to assist with the incident. In order to allow emergency services access to the railway all power to the track will need to be switched off in the affected area.”

As much as this is out of your control, today is the 6th day in a row that SWR has caused me to be late. Everyday the 6.08 from Eastleigh to Clapham has been late in causing me to be late to work and lose money!
Passengers are advised to check their journey’s in advance or to check with station staff.
