POLICE enquiries are ongoing after a passenger on a motorbike pointed a shotgun at a man this morning in South Ham.
A Gazette source said that as he was leaving to go to work this morning, he noticed two men on a motorbike who weren't wearing helmets.
As they turned around the corner, the passenger pulled a shotgun at him.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: "We were called at 7.04am this morning with reports that the pillion passenger on a motorbike pointed what has been described as a shotgun at a member of the public in Buckland Avenue, Basingstoke.
"No threats were made and no words were exchanged during the incident.
"Officers have been in the area making enquiries."
Police are urging anyone with any information, or anyone who saw anything suspicious, to call 101, quoting incident 140 of September 4.
