A THIEF who stole beauty products and electrical goods has been jailed for 11 weeks.
Benjamin Graham John, of Attwood Close, King’s Furlong, appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on August 21 having pleased guilty to four counts of theft.
The court heard how on August 14 the 46-year-old entered Festival Place and stole a number of electrical good from the HMV store to the value of £189.98 before making his way to the Marks and Spencer store and stealing beauty products to the value of £789.
The magistrates also heard that John had stolen £69 worth of vodka from Waitrose, in Basing View on August 1.
John also pleased guilty to an incident on June 15, where he stole dishwasher tablets to the value of £86.91 from the B&M store in Worting Road.
The magistrates sentenced to 11 weeks in jail and ordered to pay £69 in compensation.
