Two fire engines were called to a fire on an electricity pylon in Hook on Sunday night.
Crews from Odiham and Hartley Wintney were called out just before midnight to the blaze on Rectory Road.
The 15-metre tall pylon was isolated by Southern Electric whilst one jet was used to extinguish the fire.
None of the surrounding trees, sheds and properties were affected were affected by the fire, but the crews had prepared in the event of it spreading.
The fire was extinguished shortly after 1.30am.
The crew from Odiham were also called out recently to help the ambulance service gain access to a casualty on The Spinney in Hook.
In a tweet this morning, the crew said that the casualty was breathing & conscious and left in the care of ambulance staff.
