THE owner of a 15-month-old tabby cat is desperately appealing for the help of Basingstoke residents to trace her beloved pet.

Kirsty O'Neil, 32, said Thor the cat went missing from her home in Monseratt Place in Popley on Wednesday.

"He's only just started going out and he never came back before dark. He's been gone for four days now, this is the longest time he's ever been away.

"I'm so worried, I've looked everywhere for him," she posted to Facebook.

The feline is described as having one white leg and has a short, dinstinctively stumpy tail.

He has a navy blue collar with fish bones and has been knonw to take it off.

Describing Thor, Kirsty said: "He's a very friendly cat and loves a good cuddle but might be scared of the unknonw. I'm desperate to know he's ok. He could be anywhere so plese keep an eye out for him, I just want him home."
