A THIRTY mile diversion is in place to allow for weeknight closures on the A303 at Longparish until the end of August.
The eastbound carriageway will be closed between the A3093 Picket Twenty junction at Andover and Barton Stacey.
It will be closed between 9pm and 6am, Monday to Friday.
Road users instead will have to follow the A3093 and A343 north to Wash Common, and then the A34 south to re-join the A303 at Bullington Cross.
Road closures are needed to replace sections of the safety barrier at Longparish until 30 August.
The 50 mile per hour speed restriction, that came into effect on Monday 12 August, will also remain in place on the affected section for a total of five weeks.
