A BASINGSTOKE man has been released without further action after a teenager was stabbed.
A 19-year-old man was attacked in the leg and stomach with a sharp object on Wednesday night.
He reportedly ran into a local hotel after the incident near Popley where shocked staff helped look after him until emergency services arrived.
Hampshire Police said a 36-year-old Basingstoke man was taken into police custody but was released later with no further action.
The victim, who police say is from London, is still recovering.
