FIREFIGHTERS have implemented a 200 metre exclusion zone following a fire in a Tadley industrial estate.
Members of Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene at Stacey’s Industrial Estate in Silchester Road, at around 4.30am this morning (August 7).
Upon arrival firefighters identified a number of cylinders within the area of the fire and as a precaution the exclusion zone has been put in place.
Residents are being advised to keep windows and doors shut while firefighters get the fire under control.
Crews from Tadley, Basingstoke, Mortimer, Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service and the Incident Command Unit from Maidenhead attended the scene and currently remain at the industrial estate.
More details to follow.
