A DOORMAN of a popular Top of The Town venue was punched in the face following a late night attack
An unknown man approached the doorman, who was working at the Tea Bar, in London Road, when he punched his victim in the face.
Police said the incident took place at some point between 9pm and 9.15pm on Saturday, July 20.
The attacker is described as white, aged between 40 and 50-years-old, around 5ft 8ins tall, black/grey hair, wearing a white Ralph Lauren shirt, black trousers and a burgundy suit jacket.
As a result of the incident the doorman sustained bruising to his right eye.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “Were you in London Road on that night? Did you witness what happened? Do you have any other information that could help our investigation?”
