THE sun was shining as families enjoyed the life of the 1940s at the Tadley Town summer fete.
Held on the Green, on Saturday, there was a host of different activities for those attending the event to take part in.
With traditional village games, including a coconut shy and plate smashing, there was an opportunity for youngsters to beat the goalie for a prize as well.
There was a range of stalls and a barbecue for people to enjoy, and for those who wanted to they could walk across the Green to St Paul’s Church to take part in Messy Church.
Throughout the day there was also a host of live music on offer for people to enjoy.
Money raised from the event will go towards the running and maintenance of the church.
