Love Island star Danny Williams will be heading to a Basingstoke nightclub to mingle with revellers.

The former contestant was booted off the show on Monday following a public vote.

The Hull-native broke the hearts of viewers everywhere when he dumped scientist Yewande for fellow model Arabella Chi.

And on Monday, the public made their feelings known when he was unceremoniously ditched alongside his partner Jourdan after four weeks in the infamous villa.

But the programme's loss is Basingstoke's gain as today the Gazette can reveal the full-time model will be travelling to the town shortly.

Danny will be making a guest appearance at Plush Lounge Bar on Wote Street on Friday, July 26.

Club owner Ernie Phelps told the Gazette he had booked Danny because he seemed like a "nice, genuine" man.

"It's going to be a great night. Danny is definitely one of the nice guys of the series and he puts himself across very well. I'm sure the ladies of the town will be happy to meet him," Mr Phelps said.

Lounge bars are familiar territory for Danny, who started out working as a bartender before becoming a model.

After being scouted, Danny worked with numerous international brands including GymShark, Moschino and River Island.

He also made the font cover of Attitude with Little Mix stars Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards.

Those attending should "dress to impress and ready to party". Tickets will be available shortly.
