HUNDREDS of runners pounded the streets in the annual Tadley Runners race on Sunday.
Runners taking part ran the 10-kilometre course in the weekend heat, with the race starting and finishing at the Hurst Leisure Centre in Brimpton Road, Tadley.
The team prize went to Basingstoke and Mid Hampshire AC made up of Andy Goddard, Charlotte Chalwin and Tony Watkins.
Meanwhile Andy Goddard was named fastest runner, winning this year’s trophy.
The quickest women were Charlotte Chalwin in first place and Helen Poole in second.
Making the place that bit more special was the fact that Miss Poole is daughter of the late Tim O’Sullivan, who the race is named after following 25 years of dedicated service to Tadley Runners.
