OVER the past weeks, 36 Scouts from Hatch Warren have been learning some first aid skills with our friends from St John Ambulance in Basingstoke.
The Scouts have learnt how to deal with people who may be bleeding, unresponsive, have a broken bone or are not breathing as well as learning how to give effective CPR.
Learning first aid at a young age is an amazing skill to have; you never know when you might need it!
After learning all the skills, the Scouts took the opportunity to have a practice on each other and ask questions from all the new things they have learnt.
A true new skill for life and 36 more people that might be able to help you one day.
