A HOST of apprenticeship roles are set to be displayed at a college event.

More than 35 different employers with apprenticeship vacancies are set to exhibit at Basingstoke College of Technology’s (BCoT) Apprenticeship Recruitment Fair on Monday from 4.30pm to 7pm.

Middlesex Aerospace, DCSL software, Red Mist Leisure and Exertis are some of the employers set to be present at the event.

It is the college’s second Apprenticeship Recruitment Fair this year and follows a successful event in March which attracted more than 300 visitors.

BCoT principal Anthony Bravo said: “Apprenticeships are a great way of gaining recognised qualifications, workplace experience and skills while earning a salary.

"If you’re interested in starting an apprenticeship in September but are yet to find an employer this is a perfect opportunity to see a wide range of employers with vacancies all in one place.

"There are lots of different apprenticeships on offer both locally and nationally with the employers attending the event offering everything from engineering and computing to automotive and construction apprenticeships”.
