AN ARREST has been made after a man was attacked outside a pub and left with a fractured skull.
Police have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the attack outside The Beacon, in Kings Road, South Ham.
The incident, which took place between 11pm and 11.32pm on May 10, left the victim, a 38-year-old man from Basingstoke, needing emergency surgery after he sustained a fractured skull when a bottle was thrown.
The arrested man, who is from Basingstoke, has been released under investigation.
