POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with an assault which left a man with a fractured skull.
As previously reported in the Gazette, a man was attacked outside The Beacon pub, in Kings Road, South Ham, on May 10.
The incident took place between 11pm and 11.32pm where the victim was knocked unconscious and had to be taken Southampton General Hospital where he had to undergo emergency surgery.
The victim, a 38-year-old man from Basingstoke, sustained a fractured skull after a bottle was thrown at him.
Officers have now released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to who may be able to aid their investigation.
The suspect is described as being a black male, aged around 20 – 25.
