A WOMAN has died and a man has been seriously injured after two motorbikes collided in Upton Grey.
Police were called to reports of a crash in Bidden Road at 10.05am this morning (June 1) between two motorbikes that were travelling in the same direction.
The rider of one of the bikes, a man in his 60s from Surrey, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
His passenger, a woman believed to be in her 60s, died as a result of the collision.
The second motorcyclist, a man in his 30s from Upton Grey, did not sustain any serious injuries.
Police are investigating the incident, with enquiries ongoing. Traffic is still slow in the area.
Anyone with information about the collision is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting Operation Newgate.
