LOCALLY-based charity, Victoria’s Promise, is holding a Party in the Park at Hartlett’s Park in Hook on Saturday, 8 June from 2.30pm to 9pm.

Live bands from around the area will be playing from two stages along with an area set up for children’s entertainment.

Among the refreshments on offer will be a barbecue, paella and pizzas plus a full bar.

Visitors are welcome to bring their rugs, tables and chairs so they can relax and fully enjoy the whole experience.

Victoria’s Promise has been established for five years, filling the critical gaps in emotional, practical, physical and social support.

The aim of the charity is to support and empower young women, and their families, suffering through the challenges of cancer treatment.

Alongside support services, Victoria’s Promise run Affinity workshops which bring together young women going through similar journeys and challenges.

These get-togethers remove the feeling of isolation, reduce fear and increase positivity and empowerment – all vital to their overall wellbeing, recovery and reduce recurrence.

Victoria's P romise is there from day one to ensure these young women can concentrate on her treatment and recovery at the same time as keeping as much stability and normality in the home.

Join the Party in the Park for a great summer day out helping to raise more funds to support more young women and their families
