THE BASINGSTOKE branch of a brain injury charity is getting involved in a hat-themed awareness event.
Headway Basingstoke is getting involved in Action for Brain Injury Week, which takes place from May 20-26. The week is designed to raise awareness of brain injuries in the community, and this year’s national theme is fatigue.
Headway Place in Homefield Way will be transformed tomorrow into a hat parade as clients, carers, volunteers and staff will be donning their best headwear of all shapes and sizes for a social evening.
Headway Basingstoke works with a wide variety of people with brain injuries, from people who have been involved in car accidents to those who have had a stroke.
To get involved with Headway Basingstoke, or to run a fundraising event, then visit headwaybasingstoke.org.uk, contact support@headwaybasingstoke.org.uk, or call 01256 314 969 and ask for Carol.
