A MAN who threatened to ‘petrol bomb’ a person’s house has been handed a community order.
Timothy Mark Painter, 27, of Quilter Road, Brighton Hill, appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Thursday last week, charged with using threatening or abusive language towards another person.
The court heard how on August 5, last year, Painter had threatened to go to his victim’s house and “petrol bomb their f*****g house” and that he would “f*****g burn the lot of them out.”
Painter was given a community order and ordered to complete 60 days of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £15 costs.
