VOLUNTEERS Week is fast approaching, with less than a month to go - it is a wonderful opportunity to thank your volunteers for the valuable contributions they make to your organisation.

This year, Volunteers’ Week is about celebrating the huge range of people who give their time in so many ways.

When thanking your volunteers this year, take a moment to remember each and every one of them. From trustees and campaigners to carers and fundraisers, this is a great time to think about the fantastic contribution all your volunteers make.

It is also a chance to think about what volunteering for everyone means to you. How can you celebrate people from every walk of life who are getting involved in volunteering?

Recent BVA volunteer Rosie said: “Through my great experience working with these wonderful people I have learnt how important young volunteers are for these organisations and how volunteering is important for young people.”

In the week, remind volunteers and groups about the North Hants Volunteer database to look for volunteering opportunities. Go to volunteernorthhants.org.
