A WOMAN has issued a renewed appeal to find a missing cat, five years after the animal went missing.
Mowgli the Burmese cat went missing in Sherfield-on-Loddon in July 2014, and his owner has not given up hope on his return.
Jodie Lawton, from Basingstoke, said: “He is a friendly cat and would often go and sit in a nearby salon as well as a doctor’s office.
“He’s well known in the area and it’s out of character for him to not come home. I think he is still out there, he might have got into a car and ended up somewhere else where someone took him as their own. If someone has, please let me know.”
Mowgli is microchipped, but did not have a collar as he would often remove it.
If anyone has any knowledge of the whereabouts of Mowgli, contact Jodie on 07795 154321 or jodielawton13@gmail.com.
