THE chairman of a parish council has bid farewell after a five-year stint in the role.
Jon Hale had been the chairman of Odiham Parrish Council for the past five years, but at a meeting on May 13, he handed over the reins to his successor Councillor Angela McFarlane.
Mr Hale said: āIām very proud of my time in office. Particular highlights include setting up more contact with the RAF base in Odiham, as well as our massive RAF100 celebration for the centenary last year. We have also managed to complete or undertake several building projects, including the multi-use games area.ā
Mr Hale will now be a part of the InOdiham team.
