A PROLIFIC thief who stole more than £240 worth of items from shops across Andover has been handed a jail sentence.

Fraser Williams, of no fixed abode, targeted Boots, the Co-op and Iceland between December 12 last year and March 19 this year.

He took an electric razor, food, alcohol and meat worth £241.57 during the three-month period.

On May 9, at Basingstoke Magistrates Court the 25-year-old pleaded guilty to four counts of theft.
