A BASINGSTOKE jeweller will be giving away free jewellery this weekend to those who share a birthday with the store.
Family-owned jewellers Beaverbrooks, which has a store in Festival Place, is celebrating the centenary of the retailer on Saturday, 25 May.
Anyone from the Basingstoke area born on May 25 can come forward to claim a £100 gift card, which can be spent on diamonds, watches and jewellery inside the store.
To claim the jewellery, the lucky individual needs to be the first person in the store on Saturday and provide suitable identification to a member of staff.
Store manager at Beaverbrooks, Darren Plank, said: “Saturday 25 May is a huge milestone for Beaverbrooks as it reaches its 100-year anniversary – so what better way to share the birthday celebrations than by giving away £100 worth of jewellery to someone in Basingstoke who is celebrating their birthday on the same day?
“We’re proud to be a much-loved high street jeweller, celebrating magical moments and bringing families together for 100 years. We hope that anyone lucky enough to be celebrating their birthday with us on Saturday will be able to choose something beautiful to keep forever.
“We’re looking forward to sharing our celebrations with Basingstoke locals.”
