A PUB has been honoured with a prestigious award less than a year after opening under new management.
The Purefoy Arms, in Preston Candover, has been awarded two coveted AA Rosettes, making the establishment only one of three in the area to hold the ranking.
The awards scheme ranks pubs and hotels with high standards, with five rosettes being the top level.
The AA award is the recent in a string of prestigious accolades achieved by chef patron Gordon Stott less than a year since the pub opened in June 2018 including Winner of Gastropub of the Year 2018 at the Food Awards England.
Gordon said: “We’re absolutely delighted to attain 2 AA Rosettes less than a year after opening.
“Our pub is focused on consistently offering outstanding quality and variety.”
