A CHARITY offering support to cancer patients has received a £1,000 donation towards its work as part of an initiative introduced by a housing developer.
David Wilson Homes Southern has given The Pink Place funding to help the charity deliver free of charge therapies and services to people from its Wote Street, Basingstoke, base.
Representatives from the Pink Place, Janis Taylor and Christine Griffiths, were recently welcomed to the David Wilson’s Gillies Meadow development, off Park Prewett Road, to receive the donation from sales manager Neil Douglas.
The funds were donated as part of David Wilson Homes community fund scheme.
Janis, founder of The Pink Place, said: “The generous donation will allow us to continue to provide free wellbeing services and support to adults affected by cancer in Basingstoke.”
