A MOTORIST has been injured after his car crashed on a dual carriageway this morning.
Emergency services were called to Ringway North at around 8am today after reports a car travelling westbound had crashed just after the Aldermaston Road roundabout.
The vehicle had left the road, coming to a halt in trees and bushes by the side of the dual carriageway.
Firefighters helped the male driver from the car who was then given into the care of South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS).
A SCAS spokesperson confirmed the driver had sustained a minor head injury and after initial assessment was then taken to Basingstoke hospital.
