POLICE are appealing for witnesses after more fires were discovered in open spaces in Tadley.

The crew from Tadley Fire Station was called out to Wigmore Common at 5.45pm on Monday, 22 April, where two fires had started.

The firefighters used hose reels to put out the fires, which, it is believed, were deliberately started.

Police have asked for anyone who knows how the fire started to get in touch via 101 and quote the crime reference number 44190138434.

This has come after an investigation was launched following reports of four fires in Tadley.

Firefighters from Tadley and Kingsclere stations were called to a fire in the open off Bishopswood Lane on Saturday afternoon.

When crews arrived on the scene there were four separate fires, all of which are believed to have been deliberately set.
