INFORMATION is being sought after five council trees were felled.
Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council wants any persons with any information about the felling of the trees in Herriard Way, Tadley, to come forward.
The council cannot give a specific date range of when it suspects the felling took place, but the matter was reported to the police on March 19.
Anyone with any information should call the council on 01256 844844 or police on 101, quoting the crime reference number 44190095739 if calling the latter number.
