A MARKETING company has given the gift of some Easter joy to children at Basingstoke hospital.

Staff from the head office of Adare, in Priestley Road, Basingstoke, donated more than 60 Easter eggs to the children’s ward at the hospital on Thursday 18.

This is part of the company’s ongoing bid to be involved with the Basingstoke community and local charities, and the ideas was to raise the spirits of children going through a difficult time at the hospital.

Laura Welch, PA to Adare’s chief executive officer, said: “Following generous donations from our staff to a request for Easter eggs, we were delighted to be able to deliver a little bit of Easter joy to the children who will be spending the Easter holiday in hospital.”

Laura was joined by colleagues Stuart Pearson, Bella Bassey, Graham Little and Sarah Prosser, as they delivered the eggs to the ward.
