CHILDREN at Jubilee Day Nursery have been given some hands-on outdoor learning.
The Padworth-based nursery, situated on 60 acres of woodland and which has a private farm, welcomed 20 new lambs to the family.
Children took part in small workshops with the nursery’s farmers, teaching them how to care for the latest additions to the farm.
The nursery has found that farming has proven to have many benefits to a child’s learning development, and has increased its children’s appreciation of nature, promote healthy lifestyles and educate them on the life cycle of animals.
