DANCERS from Basingstoke are set to showcase their talents on the national stage.
Members of the JG Dance group recently secured their place in the semi-finals of the British Arts National Dance Competition.
On their way to the semi-finals the dancers performed a range of different dances including ballet, modern jazz, national, tap, singing and drama.
Principal at JG Dance, who holds classes in Brighton Hill and at Carnival Hall, Ann Morelle said: “If enthusiasm and hard work are anything to go by then they certainly deserve to win. We have had over 100 semi-finalists this year, and I am very proud of their wonderful achievement.”
To win their way to the finals at the Polish Theatre in London, they will need to rank within the top four across the country in their category.
