OAKLEY Bowling Club will be holding open days on Saturday, 27 and Sunday, 28 April from 11am until 2pm as part of the Oakley Sports Weekend programme.

People of all ages and abilities are welcome to attend, with a suggestion to wear flat-soled shoes if attending to protect the club's green.

Oakley Bowling Club, formed in 1978, is located on the Malshanger Estate on the outskirts of Oakley.

The club has more than 120 playing members and 30 social members with one of its younger members, Nicole Rogers, is the world indoor junior champion in her age group.

There will be a further summer open day on Saturday, 15 June from 10am to 4pm.
