HAVING first picked up a guitar at the age of eight, Molly Tuttle always knew music was in her blood.

First performing with her dad at the age 11, Molly has since gone on to be be welcomed in to the folk music, bluegrass, Americana and traditional country music communities.

As Tuttle matured, so did her musical tastes, ranging from Bob Dylan and Gillian Welch to The Smiths and Neko Case.

It was in 2015 when the musician moved to Nashville that her solo career started to gain some traction and in 2017 she was the first woman to win the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Guitar Player of the Year award.

Molly has continued to accumulate accolades, winning Folk Alliance International’s honor for Song of the Year and taking home her second trophy for the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Guitar Player of the Year

Now hitting the road again with her signature sound with boundary-breaking songs, Tuttle will perform at The Forge on April 17.
