THE region's MPs voted against every option put before them last night in the latest round of 'indicative voting', which failed to break the Brexit impasse.

The House of Commons last night voted on options of another referendum, seeking a customs union, staying in the single market, and potentially cancelling Brexit completely if no deal could be agreed.

However, none of the choices above earned a majority in the second attempt at 'indicative voting' with a no-deal exit now looming ever closer with other options to be debated tomorrow, including a long extension to the period before the UK leaves the EU or a fourth vote on prime minister Theresa May's deal.

Below is how your MP voted:

Maria Miller, MP for Basingstoke

  • Voted against seeking a UK-wide customs union with the EU.
  • Voted against the so-called 'Common Market 2.0' approach, of remaining in the European single market and seeking a temporary customs union with the EU.
  • Voted against holding a public vote to confirm any withdrawal agreement agreed by Parliament.
  • Voted against granting power for MPs to block leaving with no-deal by cancelling Brexit if the EU will grant a further extension beyond April 12.
