THE Lions of Basingstoke are delighted to have once again secured the services of the ABBA tribute group, ABBA Sensation, who will be returning to Queen Mary's Hall, at QMC, on April 13.

ABBA Sensation bring all the glitz and glamour of the famous four and have the musicianship and voices to capture the energy and sparkle of the originals.

The Lions Club set this evening up as a full scale audience participation night with all the room necessary for dancing or sitting back and soaking up the entertainment.

The previous concerts with ABBA Sensation have been a sell out.

Tickets are £14, available via basingstokelions.org.uk or from Toucan Travel, in Chineham Shopping Centre, or from Maurice Hockley on 01256 421867 or mauricehockley@hotmail.com.

Arrive at 7.30pm for an 8pm start

All proceeds from this event will go directly to deserving causes in Basingstoke and the surrounding area.

As ever The Lions Club disperses 100 per cent of the profits from such occasions.

This is only one of several shows a year the Lions organise.

Look out for Moscow Drug Club, celebrating the launch of the group's fourth album later this year. Renowned for their captivating and unique style of Gypsy Latin swing and raconteuring, Moscow Drug Club will be appearing at Queen Mary’s College on July 20

Later in the year, look out for The Ali Mac Band, which will be appearing at the Royal British Legion, in Old Basing, on September 21. They are described as a “rockin’ 4-piece with an allstar line-up”.
