A BRAND and digital agency is striding out in aid of terminally-ill children.

Staff at The Escape, in Hatchwarren Lane, are calling on residents and businesses to support them in raising money for Naomi House and Jacksplace children’s hospices when they take on a 20km charity walk tomorrow (Friday, 29 March).

Staff at The Escape, accompanied by clients, friends and family will walk from the company’s head office through the Hampshire countryside to Naomi House in Sutton Scotney.

Managing director Rob Jones said: “This 2018/19 financial year marks our 20th year of being in business and we wanted to celebrate that in a meaningful way by supporting these amazing children’s charities. Over the last 12 months our team, assisted by our wonderful clients, have taken on numerous challenges to raise much needed funds. This week’s walk is the culmination of our year-long efforts.

“We are calling on the local community to get behind us to raise as much money as possible by simply donating via justgiving.com/fundraising/escape-to-the-country-20k-walk.

"Any donation, large or small, can make a huge impact and we are extremely grateful to the wonderful people of Hampshire who dig deep to help us make this fundraising initiative a big success.”

Naomi House and Jacksplace provide specialist hospice care to hundreds of life- limited and life-threatened children, young adults and their families across the region.
