FOR THE next two weeks, Basingstoke Discovery Centre is playing host to a myriad of images all taken by photographers with visual impairments.
Opened on Monday, the exhibition organised by Portsmouth-based Losing My Sight UK, will be at the Festival Place-based centre until March 24.
The exhibition contains photos from a host of members of the charity’s photographic club, including photos of animal, landscapes and more.
Vice-chair of Losing My Sight and Basingstoke group leader Elena Sommers said: “The camera helps me to see the world and is a way of speaking about the world.
“The exhibition shows that we are all capable of joining in and achieving.”
Basingstoke and Deane mayor Councillor Seán Keating was on hand to cut the ribbon to open the exhibition.
