A GROUP from a Basingstoke memory club took a visit to a house in Frensham for a day of activities.
The visit was organised by Ann Fryer, as she welcomed nine members of the Memory Club in Viables to her house for a day of activities, including a lunch, a walk around the four-acre ground and a tour of the building's history.
A member of the Basingstoke Deane Rotary Club, Ann hosted them, along with a few Rotary volunteers, on February 22.
Memory Club lead Emma Cameron said: "It was a lovely day, and everyone enjoyed themselves.
"The Rotary paid for the transport to get them there, and it was a beautiful day for it. The Rotary was fantastic, and there was a warm welcome for them in lovely surroundings.
"It was nice for them to get out and see the ground, and it was very successful, as they were meaningfully engaged in the conversations. They even shared their life experiences, which triggered memories for them."
