FIREFIGHTERS had to free a woman from their vehicle following a five-car collision near Basingstoke hospital.
Crews from Basingstoke were called to Aldermaston Road south at 6.49pm yesterday (March 7) after an incident involving five vehicles, which blocked the carriageway for nearly three hours.
The woman had to be cut free from their vehicle and sustained injuries to her back, while another two casualties were treated for injuries at the scene by South Central Ambulance Service.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service received the stop message at 8.45pm.
