PHOTOGENIC felines have been among the awards.
At the Basingstoke and District Cat Protection Fair, held at the Ambrose Allen Centre, in Franklin Avenue, Tadley, on Saturday, four-legged friends were selected for a range of submitted photos to the charity.
The winner of the best in show was Simba by taken Sharon Hopkins from Baughurst.
The image will appear on the front of the Basingstoke and District branch’s 2020 calendar.
For the people’s voice vote, Becca Pearce’s image of Suki came out on top, with Marlyn Johnson and Jennifer Coombes’ images placing second and third respectively.
On the day, the charity was presented with a cheque for £250 from sales of its 2019 calendar.
