MATTHEW Luke John Taylor, 26, of Byron Close, Popley. Pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage to property belonging to Hampshire Constabulary on September 9, 2018. Fined £135 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £40 costs. Also pleaded guilty to using threatening and abusive language towards a detention officer on the same date. Fined a further £150.

BRIAN McCauley, 28, of Dryden Close, Popley. Pleaded guilty to stealing two Yankee candles to the value of £30 from Cohen’s Chemist on November 3, 2018. Community order made and ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £25 costs. Also pleaded guilty to stealing a charity collection box belonging to the National Kidney Foundation on the same date. Further community order made.

KERRY Christina Joan Smyth, 25, of Dryden Close, Popley. Pleaded guilty to stealing two Yankee candles to the value of £30 from Cohen’s Chemist on November 3, 2018. Community order made and ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £25 costs. Also pleaded guilty to stealing a charity collection box belonging to the National Kidney Foundation on the same date. Further community order made. Also pleaded guilty to stealing beauty products from a Boots store to the value of £189.90, on January 7, 2019. Further community order made.

CONOR Harrison Collins Elaides, 26, of Sherborne Road, South View. Pleaded guilty to stealing two hooded tops to the value of £89.98 from Superdry in Festival Place on November 8, 2018. Sentenced to eight weeks in jail. Also pleaded guilty to being in possession of a foil lined bag to use with the intention to steal items on the same date. Sentenced to a further eight weeks in jail to run concurrently and ordered to pay £150 victim surcharge.

LISA Dawn Vass, 40, of St Michael’s Road, South Ham. Pleaded guilty to stealing air fresheners to the value of £49.84 from the B&M Store on January 11, 2019. Fined £40 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge.

CHRISTOPHER PHILLIP CAVE, 38, of St Lukes Close, Basingstoke. Pleaded guilty to stealing groceries and alcohol to the value of £49.39 belonging to Iceland, in Basingstoke. Fined £40, and also ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £20 costs.

TERRANCE JOHN BOLTON, 38, of no fixed address. Pleaded guilty to theft of a pedal cycle worth £500 after trespassing at Skyline Plaza, Basingstoke, on January 18, 2019. Committed to prison for 18 weeks. Also ordered to pay £115 compensation. Also pleaded guilty to theft of clothing to the value of £125 belonging to JD Sports, in Basingstoke, on February 7, 2019. No separate penalty
