THE largest ever staging of an event for pupils in Basingstoke has been staged.
More than 130 primary pupils visited Cranbourne at the end of January for the largest ever Cranbourne Cluster Conference.
The children, aged between five and 11-years-old, from schools within Cranbourne’s cluster group, were invited to the Wessex CLose school where they took part in various workshops.
The sessions were run by teachers from across the cluster and included art, team building, music, careers and Japanese.
Meanwhile, ambassadors from Cranbourne led the primary students around the school site and facilitated in the workshops.
Matthew Rogers-Mitchell, a Year 10 pupil, said: "The kids looked like they were having a blast."
The day was opened by Aaron Phipps, a Team GB wheelchair rugby player, who spoke about how he has overcome his personal challenges to achieve his success in his chosen field.
Mr Phipps gave a workshop on his journey to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.
