FOLLOWING huge demand, a national bakery firm has rolled out its new vegan product nationwide.
As previously reported in The Gazette, Greggs vegan sausage roll was introduced into select stores around the country, but Basingstoke missed out.
Now, bakery firm will put the product into all of its 1,950 shops.
The Vegan Sausage Roll is designed to mirror some of the sausage roll’s classic features, including 96 layers of light and crisp puff pastry, but instead is made with a bespoke Quorn filling. It costs from £1.
The product will be in all stores nationwide from March 8.
